Stage 2 from Brook to Shide via Carisbrooke Castle

 

This second stage starts from Brook and heads inland to Hulverstone and  onto Mottistone Common and Grammar Common before skirting Limerstone to reach Brighstone Forest.  The path follows on through Rowborough and alongside Lukely Brook to Clatterford and Carisbrooke Castle.  The Shepherds Trail is followed to Gatcombe passing Whitecroft to reach Blackwater before following the old railway line to Shide
