The Owl & Monkey Haven has been
created to provide a safe, happy environment for
primates & birds of prey who find themselves without a
home. The Haven is not a zoo or animal collection, it is
a sanctuary built to the highest possible standards with
large bespoke enclosures to suit the inhabitants needs.
They care for many rare and
endangered species that have never been seen on the
Island before & can seldom be found anywhere else in the
country. We welcome visitors of all ages to visit our
exceptional sanctuary, meet our loveable friends and
witness their beauty, charm & very different
personalities.
2011 has seen the introduction of
Daily Events programme, providing visitors with an
understanding and connection with the animals' they care
for. Their friendly staff can often be seen spending
time with visitors chatting about the differing species
and unique personalities of our animals. The success of
this personable approach has encouraged them to host a
daily events programme; Lunch time feeds, keeper talks
and Owl greetings offer close up viewings of the animals
as well as personal stories about the unique
characteristics of the inhabitants. |
