Public Footpath SS3 in Luccombe will be closed until 14th November 2010
Erosion and landslip has made the path unsafe for public use.
SS3 location: The path is closed from the junction with Public Footpath SS2 (GR 580-793) to the beach at (GR 583-792)
No diversion is currently available.

Newport
Public Footpath N59 Carisbrooke
Closed to to unsafe adjacent wall. To be opened as soon as clearance/ repair works take place.

Ventnor
Public Footpath V90 at the Botanical Gardens will be closed until December 2010.
This closure is in the interest of public safety. There is a close by inland diversion.

Public Footpath BB10 Coastal Path, Bembridge
Part of Public Footpath BB10 on the Coastal Path in Bembridge has been closed due to a landslip. The closure is currently until January 2011, however this may be extended depending on works needed.
BB10 location:The closure is from the junction of Public Footpath BB10 and BB14 (GR SZ 647 869) to the junction of BB10 and BB14 at Forelands Fields Road (GR SZ 653 872).
A diversion is available via Howgate Road.

Bembridge
Public Footpath BB10 Coastal Path, Bembridge

BB10 location: GR SZ 655-875 to SZ 658-874
IW Rights of Way Department comment that as you approach the section between BB43 and BB42 you will need to walk on the beach, and the route may not be perfectly clear due to the nature of the ground.
