Cross a stile and continue across the next field and cross a stile leading into Chessell Copse.  Follow the path through the copse crossing another stile and a third on the edge of the copse.  Continue straight across the field keeping the hedge to the right, then turn left and continue across the top of the field keeping the hedge to the right to reach the access track to Little Chessell.  Turn right, then left following Dodpits Lane for approximately 50 yards and turn right along the track (S34) passing Churchill's Farm on the right.  Cross the stile in the fence and continue straight across the field descending slightly and cross a stile.  Bear left and follow the path uphill and continue straight across the track junction following the path keeping the fence to the left.  Continue straight across the field and turn right at the fingerposts following the path (S18) downhill across open fields.  Continue along the track bearing left across a footbridge and across the next field keeping the hedge to the left to reach the roadway outside Wellow opposite the church.
