Freshwater Trail

The walk starts at Yarmouth & follows the route of the long since closed railway, now a bridleway/cycle path, to the Causeway.  A short stretch of road leads to the bridle path to join the Tennyson Trail at Freshwater Bay.  Flooded conditions meant that the path along the west side of the Yar could not be followed; the alternative Freshwater Way was taken to Freshwater
