Introduction

This walk starts with a gentle stroll around the southern shores of Loweswater; the woods are spectacular in Spring with a massive carpet of bluebells.  Crossing the road and making our way to the bridle path, the path turns towards Darling Fell which is extremely steep out the outset. Traversing between Darling Fell & Low Fell requires a fairly steep descent & ascent whereas the descent from Low Fell is steep & relatively unpleasant.
